Oprah likes Obama. So does David Geffen.
Streisand likes Clinton.
And John Edwards has Harry Belafonte (I know, I know).
And now, the venerable Gray Lady, The New York Times, has just announced its endorsing Clinton on the Democratic ticket and McCain as the best choice for the Repubs.
I get that Oprah or Streisand’s endorsement may mean something, at least in the way of fundraising possibilities. But outside of the Isle of Manhattan does anyone care who the hell the Times is backing?
